Gus and Dad are in the midst of their father/son trip. We have been planning this one for a year or so and are finally underway. The first night, Friday we stopped in Grand Forks and watched the Fighting Sioux defeat Colorado College 6-2. Unfortunately Dad forgot the camera and we don't have any proof. Since there were no rooms in Grand Forks, we hightailed it to Fargo after the game. Here is a picture of Gus adjusting his side of the Sleep number bed. I think he liked it at 35, whatever that means. I think Dad's number was 150 or whatever rockhard was. We made it throgh the night and left early for the Twin Cities. We met up with Glen and Alana at Bubba Gump's Shrimp at the mall of America. Here is a picture of Glen and Alana each having a girlie drink before their meal. Don't they look cute.
After supper, we went to the Wild/Flames game at the Excel Energy Center. We had great seats except that we had to sit beside Glen at the game. Gus was impressed as we had Brian Rolston's wife and kids in front of us and Josh Hardings parents behind us. The Wild won the game 4-1 with the highlight being derek Boogard's fight with Eric Godard. We are looking forward to the Vikings game tomorrow and will report on this later.
Here is a picture of Gaborik scoring his first of 2 goals on the night.

Note to Garth Shindle: At least I update my blog at least once a year.

Nice...looks like a nice trip for you guys. Next time keep him in school and don't neglect his education.
